Collaborative structure of online teaching environment is effective in achieving learning goals. My initial perception, apprehensions and expectations are absolutely changed after this course. The collaborative interaction behavior and attitudes toward the instruction, performance at individual and group level in project work is helpful and useful as it improves learners’ abilities in F2F environment too. The role of technology mediated learning system is to support effective student-content interaction as it enhances and develops knowledge and skills of learners. Interaction also enhances active participation between student-student and student-instructor helps in acquiring and sharing new knowledge in digital environment.
As far as my opinion is concerned, I foresee that from instructional design perspective, the designing, and implementing activities will be shifted to mobile technology because they will play a part in future technology.
The specific technology tools like Google forms, Google slides will be mostly used in online courses because of its nature of easy to use and free availability of learning space. Everything you need to create from forms to presentations, Google provides a link. Positive and timely interaction and participation in online environment help to achieve assessment goals either formative or summative. Assessment improves when learner and instructor respond to the information.
